Outdoor Adventure & Education Trips
Wats Dyke School places great emphasis on Outdoor Education and the great opportunities that pupils are able to experience at these centres. Pupils go to Pentrellyncymer Outdoor Education Centre near Clocaenog Forest in years 3,4 and 5. Pupils attend the Nant Bwlch Yr Haern centre near Llanrwst in Year 6.
Typical activities afforded to the children on these visits include climbing, abseiling, canoeing, orienteering, mountain biking, map-reading and many other outdoor activities. Experience gained on these excursions is invaluable, pupils grow in confidence and learn a great deal about themselves and their peers.
