We are very proud to be part of the Wrexham Healthy Schools Scheme. We aim to provide a school environment that supports the health and well-being of everyone in our school. The whole school community has embraced this initiative and we have achieved our first award of three.Areas we have improved over the past year have included healthier options for both break and lunch times. We have also encouraged the children to increase their water consumption throughout the school day and we have worked hard to improve the school's outdoor environment.
The School Council play an important role in decision making about our next targets and they also help to implement them. We are looking forward to moving on to our next targets and gaining our second award.
School Meals are cooked and served on the school premises. It is a cafeteria type system with the children having a wide selection of food to choose from each day. Children can also bring their own sandwiches.School Dinners cost £9.50 per week (£1.90 per day) for Infants, £9.75 per week for Juniors (£1.95 per day), payable on a Mondays.
